South County Road in Palm Beach has gotten a little sweeter thanks to the new Peterbrooke Chocolatier that opened in Palm Beach according to an article in the Palm Beach Daily News..
The story states that the new shop will be giving away a complimentary 6-ounce bag of chocolate-covered popcorn to every guest who stopped by the grand opening event.
Palm Beach Mayor Gail Coniglio and Greater South County Road Association President Patti Sans are expected to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the store, which moved from an existing location on Royal Poinciana Way. After the former shop closed in June, Peterbrooke kept paying its employees until the new store’s build-out was complete.
“We are happy to be back open with our existing and new staff at our new, more centrally located South County Road location and look forward to welcoming our loyal customers back, as well as introducing Peterbrooke chocolates to new guests and friends,” Peterbrooke Chocolatier Chief Operating Officer Jeff Smith said in a news release. “Our Palm Beach employees are the heart and soul of our business and absolutely critical to producing the hand-crafted chocolates our customers have come to know us for."
